After waiting for over 6 months, a judge ruled that no charges will be filed against the officers who murdered Breonna Taylor. The only charge filed was in regards to one officer and gun shots that went into another apartment. In essence, they care more about a wall than the life of Breonna. Read more on the aftermath of this decision and how the black community is processing this.

They parked in a driveway and had guns pointed at them to get out of the car, they were scared tried to drive around the deputies but before they could the police shot into the car 10 times. A recent whistle blower nurse highlighted the unethical medical practices at ICE detention centres. She spoke about a high number of 'cervical surgeries' including mass hysterectomies, abortions, strange miscarriages and in some cases ovaries being removed. Whilst some of these claims haven't been proved, read this article about one womans personal account about certain procedures and operations that herself and other migrant women did not fully understand.

Andre Hill was shot dead on December 22 in Columbus, Ohio. Police were responding to a non-emergency disturbance call, Andre was unarmed and was holding up a cell phone as he took slow steps towards officers. On February 23 2020, Ahmaud Arbery was murdered while out running in Brunswick, where he was hunted and shot down in the middle of the road. Use the link to read more, but I also wanted to mention that two days ago one of Ahmaud's murderers has requested "humanitarian release" from prison due to high blood pressure. For context, when he was arrested one of the reasons his bail was denied was for his frequent use of the n word, and previous sex crimes. White privilege will be aggressively be at play if his request is granted, I will update when he gets a new hearing.

Keyon Harold Jr was tackled by a woman accusing him of stealing her phone at a hotel. She grabbed him and attempted to take his phone. Her phone was shortly returned to her by an uber driver shortly after. Keyon Harold is a well known Jazz musician so this circulated all over social media. This is another example of racial bias in the US, as the hotel manager had even sided with this woman. The family have retained attorney Ben Crump, and the woman in question has been charged with two counts of assault.

Patrick Warren's family contacted mental health professionals as they noticed changes in Patrick's behaviour. They dispatched police officers instead. Patrick greeted officers but asked them to leave but they refused. Patrick's family went outside to see Patrick being tased to the ground, they screamed don't shoot but they fired three times in total. We are still awaiting bodycam footage to be released and for this officer to be arrested, as he is currently only on administrative leave.
